Regenerative Floor Slabs

Rematter floor slabs are constructed from a frame of timber beams with rammed earth infills. All connections are dry joined or screwed, which allows for an easy disassembly and re-use of all components.

  • combined with the floor structure, its mass ensures compliance with sound insulation standards
  • ensures pleasant indoor climate due to the moisture-regulating effect of the earth and protects the wood from moisture
Timber Beam
  • glue-free and thus environmentally friendly
Suitable for all floorings. Example for ecological flooring:
  • 40 mm soft-fiber board for impact sound insulation
  • Oilpaper
  • 30 mm granulate or sand fill
  • 20 mm timber floorboards
